He was such a nice guy, talking away about comics, Kansas City (where I'm from and he has relatives) and his artwork. He graciously signed 15 comics free of charge. Two years later he gone, along with Ernie Chan. I'm glad I had the opportunity to talk to this giant of the Groovy Age, whose inking and art added so much to my life.keythd23https://www.blogger.com/profile/00690368680707726203noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7897120082101927069.post-6157273506615492222016-11-10T12:06:00.386-05:002016-11-10T12:06:00.386-05:00Fantastic art by the late Tony DeZuniga. You could always count on SSOC for great artists, and Tony was one of the best, from an age when artists weren't afraid to execute textures (especially cross-hatching) with lines and ink. That he was so kind to sign for me & his wife Tina who repacked them up twice. And married them back to me. I just wish I had known Tony decades earlier. Happy Birthday Tony!!Mike Mikulovskyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13426364090992151914noreply@blogger.com
