No disrespect to Luke but I can't for the life of me think how he could possibly beat Doom. The Super-Villain Team-Up is another favorite (though it's really hard to go from the Byrne/Austin cover to the interior art on this one) I'd also suggest a couple of the Doom covers from Byrne's FF run for this list; there were some great ones!

Cheers,
Andrew
ComicsBronzeAge.comAndrew Wahlhttp://comicsbronzeage.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7897120082101927069.post-768527750885754252009-12-05T09:02:08.641-05:002009-12-05T09:02:08.641-05:00Groovy: Great covers featuring one of the coolest ...Groovy: Great covers featuring one of the coolest Marvel bad guys of all time! - right after Galacticus, heh heh. -- MykalMykal Bantahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12148489896145024134noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7897120082101927069.post-30836475919423843042009-12-05T08:54:22.469-05:002009-12-05T08:54:22.469-05:00Hi Groovey one!

You forgot to post ...Hey Groovyone!

You forgot to post a FF cover! My vote for the best dr.Doom FF cover. Has to go to the kirby/Sinnott Giant figure of Doc Doom towering over the village with the FF below. Dr.Von Doom is Marvel's greatest villain! I give second place to the Green Goblin! I think my favorite Doom image is the Romita painted cover for the paperback collection "Bring on the Bad Guys." Even though it's a group shot, Doom has that regal stance and gives off the most menace.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7897120082101927069.post-46555775989406680282009-12-05T06:49:22.927-05:002009-12-05T06:49:22.927-05:00That Colan DD cover is beautiful! That Colan DD cover is beautiful!Mike Middletonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16684283528080368135noreply@blogger.com
