I loved the O'Neil/Grell issues and encountered them long before I was able to read the O'Neil/Adams stuff in reprints. The two issues (can't remember which ) that stick out most in my mind is the one where a yellow Green Arrow comes out of the power battery and when Hal sees the real Ollie grabs his shoulder and says "Are you real?" It felt like a lot of pathos to a seven year old kid. <br /><br />Loved that little star-guy on Hal's shoulder, too.<br /><br />I don't think these have ever been collected but they'd sure make a nice trade paper.<br /><br />Father DanAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
