Black and White Wednesday: "SoulSlayer" by Claremont and Nebres

What it is, Groove-ophiles! Ya seemed to dig last week's Iron Fist saga, so Ol' Groove thought he'd lay the second part of Chris Claremont and Rudy Nebres' kung-fu epic on ya today. From Deadly Hands of Kung Fu #20 (December 1975), Iron Fist meets..."SoulSlayer"!

  1. Deadly Hands of Kung Fu #20, Has a cover of Chuck Norris and on the proceeding page before the story there are pics of Stan (the man) Lee with Chuck Norris and another pic of Norris and Kirby together. Just happen to have the issue at home and had to dig it out of my collection.

Funny thing for me when I got into comics and came across a comic of Iron Fist at a comic store and thought what a cheesy character, I'll never get into that. Several years down the road collecting and found a trashed out marvel premiere issue with Iron Fist and thought why not I'll give it a try. Sitting down to read an Iron Fist around 94 maybe 95 and just found how great a character Iron Fist truly was. Since then I've been able to put a Marvel Premiere set together and an Iron Fist run.

Probably my pride and joy of my collection, funny how a simple secondary character within the marvel universe can truly capture someones imagination. Thanks Grove for reminding me.
