Making a Splash: Faves from Giant-Size Marvel, the Sequel

Dig it, Groove-ophiles! Nearly three years a go we rapped about some of the coolest, most beautifulest splashes we could find inside mighty Marvel's Giant-Size mags of 1974/1975. Well, those were definitely some of the best (click here to see 'em), but there's more from where those came from! Just plant your peepers on these smashing splashes!

Oh, man, can you ever dig it?

  1. The Howards by Brunner and the Shang-Chis by Gulacy are truly wonderful! Thanks for posting them!

  2. I like the second Howard the Duck story, which gave us the exquisite one-time teaming of Frank Brunner and Tom Palmer.

  3. I consider a few of these splashes as the 1970's glimpses of the future-

Tigra and the cat people around her were the first furries

The page "The Land Between Night and Day" was the first glimpse of He Man and She Ra.

Thats all I can think of right now. Anyone else see glimpses of the future in these pages?
