  1. An uninformed reader might be excused for looking at these and thinking that in 1975 Marvel was in the process of winding down the whole superhero thing and returning to its earlier days of monster comics...!

  2. Whoa! I love the larger thumbnails! Easier on the eyes. This has become one of my favorite everyday websites. Thanks for all the beautiful scans.

  3. 1975 was a great comic year for me.....By this time I was 10 years old and really rolling on my comic collecting. I loved Marvel a lot during this time......the "revolving editor's door" made for a fun period. This was also the year Atlas/Seaboard debuted and I bought a lot of those, too.

Of the above scans, I was collecting:

    Amazing Spider-Man
    Avengers (off and on....)
Creatures on the Loose with Man-Wolf
    Fantastic Four
    Iron-Man
    Jungle Action with Black Panther
    Frankenstein Monster (off and on...)
    Thor (off and on...)
    Werewolf by Night

I would've bought more had my "allowance" allowed it.....I did pick up other titles like Dracula, Man-Thing, Daredevil, Defenders, etc. occasionally.....but could only buy so many on a regular basis. I loved the horror titles.....
