Random Reads: Warriors Three by Len Wein and John Buscema

One of Ol' Groove's all-time favorite issues of Marvel Spotlight (yea, verily, or most any other Marvel title of the Groovy Age) is issue #30's "A Night On the Town!" featuring the Mighty Thor's side-kicks, Volstagg, Fandral, and Hogun--aka the Warriors Three. This story places Thor's pals on earth, getting mixed up in more down-to-earth (literally) shenanigans than they would experience in the Son of Odin's regular mag. Writer Len Wein's humorous side is given a rare moment to shine and of course the art by the Dream Team of John Buscema and Joe Sinnott is a joy to behold. From July 1976, here's a load of pure comicbook gold, Groove-ophiles! Dig it!!
