Dy-No-Mite Duos Week! Mining for Gold(en):The Batman and Ragman-- Second Anniversary Special
What it is, Groove-ophiles! Today marks the second anniversary of DotGK, so to celebrate, Ol' Groove's tossin' a mucho-requested classic at ya. In fact, this titanic team-up of The Batman and Ragman from Batman Family #20 (July 1978) has got to be the most requested tale in the two-year history of DotGK. Wonder why? It's got two very cool, spooky heroes. A neat story (including a re-telling of Ragman's origin) by David V. Reed. Knock-out art by Michael Golden (natch) and Bob Smith. I just don't get it. Huh. Oh, well, since so many of you have asked for it, here it is anyway."Enter...Ragman!"
Ohhhhhh, I get it now!
Just jivin', Groove-ophiles! Thanks again for all your support over the past couple'a years. It's unbelievable how DotGK's following has grown; definitely makes all the hard work worth it. Keep those comments and e-mails coming. I might be slow getting to them sometimes, but I do so love gettin' 'em! And never fear, Ol' Groove still has plenty of Groovy Diversions from the Files of the Forgotten to share with ya! So keep on keepin' on truckin' back to Groove City as we begin our thunderous THIRD YEAR! It's here for you, baby, 'cause you know who loves ya! Pax!
Happy blog-birthday, Groovester! Keep on doin' what you're doin' - and stay groovy!!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your second anniversary.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on two great years! Keep up the awesome work!!
ReplyDeleteHappy 2nd anniversary! And thanks again for everything you post here,it's one of my first stops every morning when I sign on.
ReplyDeleteI hope someday DC or Marvel release some nice high quality reprint books featuring Golden's art.
Congratulations!
ReplyDeleteI always love this site, groove, but... I visit less often now because the new tie-dye background hurts my eyes. I love the new logo but I'd be a happy man if that bg could go away.
Happy 2nd Anniversary Groovster! A great way to celebrate it too. I always loved the Ragman! Especially Michael Golden's version! This story & his Batman & Demon stories were my favorites he ever did. Thanks for letting us see it once again! I can't wait to see what you have in store for the next year!
