Making a Splash: Marvel Comics 40 Years Ago

Forty Years ago this month, Marvel unleashed the following mellow mayhem and magnificent madness 'pon the comicbook-reading world...and we were thankful for it! The names on in the credit boxes read like the "Who's Who" of  Groovy Age Marvel: Stan, Roy, Gerry, Neal, Barry, Gil, John, Sal, Gene, Don, Herb, and Ross! Makes ya wish ya had a Waybak Machine, dunnit?

  1. I dunno if I loved or hated that FF when I first read it, but I've definitely forgotten it.

  2. That was definitely the time to be reading comics. I'll take any of them over anybody working today.

  3. I'm with you Wayne. I am so greatful to have grown up in the Bronze age of comics. Groovster, these were my favorite years 1970 & 71. Top talent & exciting & well written stories! Even though the King had temporary left for DC.

The huge gap was filled by great army of talented people. Keep'em coming Groovy One!
