Black and White Wednesday: "Running Wild" by McKenzie, Infantino, and Nino

What it is, Groove-ophiles! Here's a cool story from Creepy #93 (cover-dated November 1977) written by Roger (Captain America, Daredevil) McKenzie with art by the unlikely-yet-awesome team of Carmine Infantino and Alex Nino. You can bet all three of these talented titans found their imaginations "Running Wild" when they cooked up this shocker! Enjoy!

  1. The art here is amazing - Nino really takes Infantino's pencils to a whole new level.

  2. Boy, the Warren black and whites were something else, weren't they?

  3. I really wish I liked Infantino's work of this period, but I just really don't. I find it ugly, boring and stale, and reigning in Nino's beautiful insanity by squeezing it into such drab work is like putting perfume on a pig. Sorry Carmine.
