Groove's Faves: "The Murder Agency" by Moench and Gulacy
Hi-YAA, Groove-ophiles! Here's another hard-to-find, true-blue classic by Doug Moench and Paul Gulacy. From Master of Kung Fu #40 (February 1976) it's..."The Murder Agency"!
I've heard some readers over the years are "distracted" by the guest-stars playing the various cast members in MOKF. I loved Gulacy's use of the Hollywood icons...it made these stories that much more entertaining!
Some of the most awesome artwork(and writing)I have ever seen. The entire run of MOKF was fantastic, possibly my favorite series of all time.Sure don't make 'em like that anymore.

ReplyDeleteIf ever there was a Collection needed this is it!
ReplyDeleteThe copy right to the Fu Manchu characters is still tied up, unfortunately; these stories might not be collected for a while.
