Get ready for a rip-roaring, no-holds-barred, action-fest that takes no prisoners from JT...MS #2 (January 1975). If ya don't dig heavy comicbook violence or politically incorrect characters--stay away! "A Crude Awakening" by Gabe Levy, Ric Meyers, and Howard Nostrand is very much of its time. Modern-day gunslingers, the oil crisis, the Alaskan Pipeline, the mob, the FBI--whew! Levy and Meyers let it all hang out! What Ol' Groove digs the most, though, is Nostrand's Will Eisner flavored art. Whadda you think, baby?
