  1. Suh-WEET indeed. I just did some checking at the GCD - why am I just now finding out that Garcia Lopez did the art on the first handful of Jonah Hex issues?

  2. It's a shame the Jonah Hex movie wasn't made in the 70's. Jonah Hex besides the disfigured face. Made me instantly think of Clint Eastwood. I still think High Plains Drifter & The Outlaw Josey Wales were borrowed from Jonah Hex. Josh Brolin did a great Eastwood impersonation. But the movie was really bad. I wish it had been directed by Eastwood. It probably would had been a block buster then. Oh well atleast it made it to the big screen. While Tony Dezuniga was still with us, He got to go to the premiere atleast.

  3. I like Garcia Lopez alot, but Tony de Zuñiga really owned Jonah Hex (besides co-creating him with writer Michael Fleischer in the early '70s). His early '80s covers and interior work on that title were fabulous---sadly, in an era when plastic plates made the printing the absolute worst in comics for a time.
