Groove's Faves: "The Revenge of the Renegade" by O'Neil and Grell

Hey, hey, hey, Groove-ophiles! Whaddya say we travel back to July, 1976, and grab a copy of Green Lantern/Green Arrow #91? Writer Denny O'Neil and artist Mike Grell gave us a fun story (shades of The Arabian Knights!) and some super-cool artwork that blended sci-fi, fantasy, and even a bit of social commentary. If there's any kid left in ya, you'll dig "The Revenge of the Renegade!"

    Excellent post! I'm pretty sure this is the first issue of GL & GA I ever pulled off of the spinner rack. I remember in particular thinking it was really funny when GA called Sinestro "lobster face."
