The Boys from Derby: "Death In the Storm!" by Molloy, Newton, and Adkins

Check it out, Groove-ophiles! Here's a short shocker from The Many Ghosts of Dr. Graves #49 (October, 1974) by Joe Molloy, Don Newton, and Dan Adkins. Adkins and Newton were an incredible artistic pairing, and "Death In the Storm!" is an early indicator of just how good they could be!

  1. I've never seen this story before as issue # 49 of TMGODG is apparently missing from my collection. Thanks, Groove, for bringing it to my attention. Another comic added to my back-issue buy list.

  2. Hey Groove, LOVE the Charleston posts, but I am curious why you don't post any of the Gold Key horror titles? There were some hidden gems in those titles.

    1. Good question, Kevin. I have posted some Gold Key stuff, but a lot of it is in print and, honestly, I just dig the Charlton stuff more. I'll see about giving more time to Gold Key's mystery titles. There was, indeed, some good stuff in Ripley's, Boris Karloff, Twilight Zone, and the rest...

    3. Although I'm partial to Charlton, count me as one who would love to see more Gold Key stuff.
