Random Reads: "Spawn of the Devil!" by Jones and Grandenetti

Dig it, Groove-ophiles! How does a publisher get a rip-off (which I actually like better'n the original) of The Exorcist into a Comics Code-approved comicbook? Ol' Groove doesn't know, either, but Atlas/Seaboard did it in Tales of Evil #1 (December 1974)! Here are Russ Jones and Jerry Grandenetti with "Spawn of the Devil!"

    It was his work for these Atlas-Seaboard books that made me see the light at last and fall in love with the dynamic pages of Grandenetti! Just read the Prez trade and it was absolutely delightful.
