Has it really been 40 years since the U.S.'s Bicentennial? Whee-o! Well, here's the finale to Jack Kirby's more-than-awesome Captain America's Bicentennial Battles (June 1976) to help us remember...
I was on crutches at the time (Dad had bad car accident....) Was not the best of time from my childhood...(cast up to hip for over 4 months...) A great 4th of July weekend to you and yours... ...Hello from Marshville.
Bicentennial Battles had 3 inkers. The first 11 pages were by Barry Windsor-Smith and mouth-wateringly beautiful. Too bad he couldn't have inked the whole thing. Happy 240th. America.
