Always love B & W Wednesdays! Especially seeing original art, John Buscema no less! How about besides more John Buscema. We see some early 70's Sal Buscema, Marie Severin & BWS!Roy Thomas turns 76 on Nov 22nd too by the way!
Beautiful art by John Buscema. Every figure, every panel a gem. Never cared for Ernie Chan's inks though. It may have made Conan look a bit olde worlde but Chan's inks were overbearing. The best inker for John Buscema seemed to be Big John himself or his little brother Sal.

ReplyDeletesome artists I never cared for growing up were actually great. It is just that their work never gelled with being colored.
