Decent Comics: "A Parting of the Ways!" by Levitz, Staton, and Layton

Hey, hey, hey, Groove-ophiles! Here's another far-out adventure featuring the great Justice Society of America! "A Parting of the Ways!" by Paul Levitz, Joe Staton, and Bob Layton effectively thins out the crowded JSA ranks and at the same time introduces a dynamic new member, the daughter of Batman and Catwoman: The Huntress! Let's truck on back to October, 1977 and nab that copy of All-Star Comics #70 off the spinner-rack!

  1. And what a splash page to start the issue! Burned into my memory since 1977.

  2. That was a bit of a cliff hanger Groove. I trust you're not going to leave us dangling for too long? It was just beginning to get interesting when the Huntress turned up.

    1. My plan is to run all the Groovy Age JSA stories, one per month. So far, so good... ;D

  3. Every time you run one of these stories it reinforces how great the Staton/Layton team was. They were a perfect combination of cartoony and sophisticate, befitting the Golden Age spirit this series was trying to capture.
