Great story, the Warren mags were head and shoulders above anything else at that point.
ReplyDeleteIt's amazing to me that Paul Neary could do such amazing Esteban Maroto-like work for Warren, then turn around and produce the unimaginative Captain America pencilling for Marvel many years later. I had thought maybe it was two different artists with the same name but read a bio of him and it was indeed the same person. Btw, Jack Butterworth sounds like a pseudonym.
