Dig it, Groove-ophiles! It's been way too long since we perused an awesomely illustrated Alex Nino number, hasn't it? Well, I'm sure Ol' Groove won't have to use any bait to get you to read this short shocker written by Jack Oleck for the first issue of
Secrets of the Haunted House #1 (January 1975). Have we got a "Fish Story" for you!

DC's horror mags were the best.
ReplyDeleteFANTASTIC, as usual
ReplyDeleteLooks like this is missing the splash page that would set this up.
ReplyDeleteA great, compact horror tale with a genius twist, exquisitely rendered by the one & only ALEX NINO! I can stare at his work all day long...and I have!
ReplyDeleteGreat Alex Nino art. Typical, torturous, over-written Jack Oleck "surprise" ending. I used to cringe when I saw his name in the credits of the mystery books.
ReplyDeleteYes ! More Nino. Thanks !
