Decent Comics: "A Kingdom to Re-Build!" by Skeates and Aparo
Hey, hey, hey, Groove-ophiles! If it's monsters, underwater action, and political intrigue you crave--then Aquaman #48 (September 1969) is the comic for you! Steve Skeates and Jim Aparo bring you..."A Kingdom to Re-Build!"
I just love these Aparo Aquaman stories. It is unbelievable DC has waited this long to reprint them. I always thought of them as being among DC's best stuff for several years, with Aparo being one of the few artists who drew underwater scenes effectively. Great stuff, Groove!
I had the Rommel's Rod model!

ReplyDeleteAnd like anything timeless, they don't seem dated (like any episode of The Twilight Zone).
