Black and White Wednesday: Moench, Gulacy, and Vohland Go "Bats"
Greetings, Groove-ophiles! Here's a silent shocker from Vampire Tales #7 (August 1974). It's the Master of Kung Fu team-supreme Doug Moench and Paul Gulacy (with inspired inks by Duffy Vohland) showing their fangs, baby! Dig it!
And they lived? Happy ever after! Yikes! That was creepy! I guess the rat got what he desevered. Or should I say bat! Always love Paul Gulacey's art on the Master of Kung Fu. I always thought his art was alot like Jim Steranko's. Hey how about a Jim Steranko week?
I loved his way too short three issues of Capt.America. Oh we'll that was the silver age of the late 60's wasn't it? Darn it!
cool!
