It truly was the Marvel Age of comics! Man I wish I could go back in time to 1970 & 71 especially. Imagine if you could & buy up all those amazing pages & covers!

ReplyDelete1971 was a great comics year. I began seriously reading Marvel and DC. I had the Cap and FF issues. Don't know why I missed Spidey's issue; maybe I didn't like the content.

Why would you do Barry Smith inked by Sal Buscema? Sal Buscema didn't need layouts.He'd probably take longer to ink someone else.
ReplyDeleteHey, thanks a lot for doing this one. I'm turning 40 in a couple of weeks, so this selection really hits home. I had already checked out the covers for this month on the Time Machine function at Mike's Amazing World of DC, so this is the cherry on top!
