Decent Comics: "A Rose By Any Other Name!" by Wein, Swan, and Chiarmonte

Greetings, Groove-ophiles! We're just gonna continuing celebrating the talent of Len Wein the rest of this week. Wein was so prolific and important, we could do a month-long tribute and still have plenty to rap about. But we'll stick to a week, and today we're going to take a look at one of his later Superman stories, a fave of Ol' Groove's because it brings back Rose and Thorn (if only for one ish). From Superman #336 (March 1979), here's Wein, Curt Swan, and Frank Chiarmonte with..."A Rose By Any Other Name!"

  1. Thanks for running this story. During the bleak period from 1977 - 1986 my life was comics-less as I abandoned collecting for other pursuits. I missed a lot of good comics that I was able to fill in with back issues (X-Men, Micronauts). This wasn't one I was aware of. Glad to have made it's acquaintance, especially under the nimble scripting of Len Wein.
