Amazed by Aparo: "Poetry of Peril!" by Kaler and Aparo

Greetings, Groove-ophiles! We're back with part two of Dave Kaler and Jim Aparo's Nightshade mini-epic from the pages of Charlton Comics' Captain Atom! (If you wanna read part one, click here.) "Poetry of Peril" comes to us via Captain Atom #88 (Cover dated October 1967). Can you dig it?

  1. So, Jim Aparo is responsible for Image Comics' logo?

  2. Yep, Anon, I speculated about that last week; I'm sure he got big fat check from them back in the '90s...

And like last week, I just have to marvel at how polished Aparo's art even in this rather early phase in his career as a comics artist. Needless to say, thanks for posting this, Groove.
