Marvel-ous Mondays: "Manhunt!" by Moench, Tuska, Esposito, and Mortellaro

Greetings, Groove-ophiles! Here's another ish of Adventures On the Planet of the Apes, the color comic that reprinted the POTA movie adaptation from Marvel's POTA b&w mag! "Manhunt!" from ish #3 (September 1975), by Doug Moench, George Tuska, Mike Esposito, and Tony Mortellaro, is an important chapter in Taylor's saga, and adapts some of the coolest scenes from the classic 1968 flick. Plus Taylor utters one of the most famous lines in all of pop culture on the final page. Yeah, this is a cool mag, baby!

Black and White Wednesday: "A Riverboat Named Simian!" by Moench, Ploog, and Chiarmonte

Welcome back, Groove-ophiles! Time to travel to an alternate future in which Apes rule the earth and mankind are but animals! Yep, more of Doug Moench and Mike Ploog's "Terror On the Planet of the Apes"! "A Riverboat Named Simian!" comes from Planet of the Apes #4 (October 1974) and is inked by Frank Chiarmonte. It's a doozy of an action-packed thrill-ride, baby, so you'd better prepare yourself for this trip!
