Dig it, Groove-ophiles! When the Comics Code relaxed its ban on supernatural-style stories, Mighty Marvel unleashed more monsters than Transylvania and all its neighbors! Dig this random sampling of creepy commercials for the creature features that ran in the early 1970s Marvel Mags! What a bounty of blood-curdling books, baby!

Black and White Wednesday: Marie Severin Cover Designs
Check it out, Groove-ophiles! Back during the early 70s, Marie Severin designed many a cool cover for Mighty Marvel, some of them downright iconic. Yeah, some were eventually drawn by the likes of the Brothers Buscema, Neal Adams, and Jack Kirby, some she drew herself, but all of 'em are pretty far-out. Enjoy this behind-the-scenes treasure trove, baby!

The Grooviest Covers of All Time: Colan and Palmer's Dracula
It's October, Groove-ophiles, so let's get in some early trick-or-treating by treating ourselves to 13 (you guessed it) darkly dy-no-mite Tomb of Dracula covers by the art-team supreme of Tom and Gene! (Palmer and Colan, that is, and yeah, Gene's the penciler and Tom's the inker, but it rhymes better that way, baby!)

Halloween 2016: "The Man from Transilvane!" and "Genocide Spray!" by Kirby and Colletta
HAPPY HALLOWEEN, Groove-ophiles! How much more Groovy Age All Hallow's Eve can you get than Jack Kirby orchestrating a battle between the team of Superman, Jimmy Olsen, and the Newsboy Legion vs...the King's own version of our beloved Universal Monsters, Dracula, the Wolf Man, and Frankenstein's Monster? Check those apples for razor blades, break out the candy, sit back and enjoy, baby!
"The Man from Transilvane!" from Jimmy Olsen #142 (August 1971)...
and "Genocide Spray!" from J.O. #143 (September 1971)...
Aside from the annoying Murphy Anderson Superman and Olsen heads...kinda nifty, huh?
