Black and White Wednesday: Savage Sword of Conan #14

Greetings, Groove-ophiles! Today let's spend some time with a fave mag--Savage Sword of Conan #14 (June 1976). Roy Thomas was a master of putting together magnificent black and white comic mags, and because of that Savage Sword was always a high-quality read 'cause Roy only accepted the best of the best in art.     That was the first SSOC that I owned. Not a bad way to start. It definitely wasn't the last one.

    Hey Groovy one!
    My favorite day of the week on your site. Has always been b & w wednesdays. Great stories by rasically Roy & gorgeous art! How can you beat that! Especially when the pages were full of beautiful babes & non stop action! Just wish I could had went to those comic conventions in the 70's-mid 80's. To meet Big John Buscema & Tony Dezuniga. Atleast I got to know Tony by phone & e-mails. Sad were losing all the greats to time.

    This was the first issue of SSOC that I bought as a back issue (mainly for the Adams art)and I remember reading that Soloman Kane Werewolf story over & over again as I thought the art by Mike Zeck was terrific!
