Groove's Faves: Conan the Comic Strip

Greetings, Groove-ophiles! How 'bout some Conan by Roy Thomas and John Buscema? Yeah, and not just any Conan, but Conan the Comic Strip! Back in 1978, the Robert E. Howard Estate, Register and Tribune Syndicate, and Marvel Comics got it all together to put Conan the Barbarian in what should have been one of the most natural environments of all for our fave pulp barbarian--the funny pages! Of course, Roy and John were the best possible choices to bring Conan and company to daily strip life, as you're about to see! Whaddya say we dig on the first seven weeks of that sensational strip, in color, thanks to their having been reprinted in Marvel Treasury Edition #23 (August 1979)! Crom!
