It's only taken six years, but here is the second sensational ish of Micronauts (November 1978)! Welcome to "Earth!" by Bill Mantlo, Michael Golden, and Joe Rubinstein! Check it out!

  1. Happy New Year! Thank you so much for featuring Micronauts today!! The first 12 issues are favorites of mine! I suggest a new feature, "Micronauts Monday"! Whatcha think?

  2. I'm with Brian, I loved Michael Golden's art on every thing. Especially on Bill Mantlo's Micronauts & ROM! I mean even the puppy looks cool!

  4. Michael Golden will be at the Wizard Comicon in Portland in a few weeks. I have almost his entire Groovy Age output autographed so this should complete things. He really was one of the greatest artists of the late 70s - early 80s. Another of those stellar artists that started out at DC but was quickly snapped up by Marvel. An interesting aside. I spoke with Joe Rubinstein at last year's Emerald City Comicon and he said Golden didn't like his inks on Micronauts and had him taken off the book. I don't understand why as they were magic together.
