Addicted to Alex Nino: "The Lonely Road to Life" by Oleck and Nino

What it is, Groove-ophiles! Ya know how Ol' Groove loves the art of Alex Nino, and lemme tell ya, it's hard to find Alex's art any cooler or wilder than when he's doing a sci-fi shocker! With "The Lonely Road to Life", from Weird War Tales #70 (September 1978), writer Jack Oleck gave the amazing Mr. Nino plenty to cut loose on! Hoo-hah!

  4. Please more Nino,
Can you imagine if Alex was given a crack at the Fantastic Four in the 70's ? The Negative Zone, Mole Man, Dr Doom, Galactis? Wow ! That would have been the greatest comics magazine.

As for the rest of ya, the purpose of this blog is to (re)introduce you to the great comics of the 1970s. If you like what you see, do what I do--go to a comics shop, bookstore, e-Bay or whatever and BUY YOUR OWN!
