As for the rest of ya, the purpose of this blog is to (re)introduce you to the great comics of the 1970s. If you like what you see, do what I do--go to a comics shop, bookstore, e-Bay or whatever and BUY YOUR OWN!

WOW! Byrne sure was a busy guy wasn't he? I especially loved his Hulk Annual #7, The Avengers , FF & Ironfist covers. Not to mention of course his X-Men! Loved his Champions & Ghost Rider covers also!
ReplyDeleteJohn Byrne is a favorite of mine! When he did the X-Men, Sub Mariner, She Hulk, Alpha Flight and his run of The Fantastic Four. Also he did a Batman Superman series called Generations that was really great!
ReplyDeleteWow! Never seen that Iron Fist cover before! Knockout!
ReplyDeleteThe Black Panther cover remind's me of "Band on the run!"
I remember The Avengers cover giving me neck ache at the news stand and finally the FF cover..."S Club 4?"
