The Boys from Derby: "The Octopus" by Gill and PAM

Dig it, Groove-ophiles! There was so much buzz goin' on in Groove City the last time we planted our peepers on a Joe Gill/Pete Morisi Vengeance Squad masterpiece, we gon' do it again! Here's "The Octopus" from Vengeance Squad #3 (which hit the spinner racks on Groove's 12th birthday, August 26, 1975)!

  1. It's so very nice to see one of Charlton's forgotten gems get some love. It seems whenever this book does come up it's because of the great Mike Mauser back-ups, but those Pete Morisi stories are delightful as well. PAM's graceful and elegant pages always please, even when at those rare times they don't make complete sense.
