Hey, hey, hey, Groove-ophiles! How'd ya like to plant your peepers on some dyn-o-mite Mike Kaluta art in a mini-masterpiece written by the artist himself? Yeah, Ol' Groove thought ya would! From Korak #55 (September 1973) let's get..."Lost on Venus"!

As for the rest of ya, the purpose of this blog is to (re)introduce you to the great comics of the 1970s. If you like what you see, do what I do--go to a comics shop, bookstore, e-Bay or whatever and BUY YOUR OWN!

Page four, panel two was inked by Berni Wrightson. Best panel in the comic (and with none of Kaluta's irritatingly scratchy lines).
ReplyDeleteDear Mr Groove!
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing.
I like both Mr Wrightson's touch and
Mr Kaluta's lovely scratchy lines.
Cheers!
