Funny Stuff: "Bronze Me, Big Eye" by Al Hartley

What it is, Groove-ophiles! How 'bout some fun in the sun with Archie and Veronica courtesy Al Hartley? At least, Archie wants some fun--Veronica only wants sun! From Pep #246 (August 1970), here's "Bronze Me, Big Eye!"

  1. Ahh, The days before sunscreen. She's going to regret that when she's older. LOL

It's nice to see the REAL Archie and not the version in that depressing TV show or the whatever the heck they've got going on the comics these days.

I sometimes think that the sole mission of this latest generation is to systematically destroy everything our generation cared about.

    1. I agree. It seems that the new generation can't come up with fun stuff we had back then so they try to ruin it out of spite.

As for the rest of ya, the purpose of this blog is to (re)introduce you to the great comics of the 1970s. If you like what you see, do what I do--go to a comics shop, bookstore, e-Bay or whatever and BUY YOUR OWN!
