Here we go, Groove-ophiles! Some of you have been waiting for Claw the Unconquered to get out of Conan's shadow for good. If "Master of the Seventh Void" doesn't fit the bill, then Ol' Groove doesn't know what will. Writer/co--creator David Micheline is joined by innovative penciler Keith Giffen (inked by Ricardo Villagran and Oscar Novelle) to take Claw much farther into Michael Moorcock territory and farther away from Robert E. Howard than we've seen yet. T'was a blistering, action-packed, and cosmic sword and sorcery tale (under a Giffen-inked-by-co-creator Ernie Chan cover) that leaped from the spinner rack back in April 1976--and it's comin' your way right now!

Decent Comics: "The Sunset Doom of Dhylka-Ryn" by Michelinie and Chan
Hey, hey, hey, Groove-ophiles! It's time for another Claw the Unconquered saga, this one from ish #6 (December 1975)! As usual, "The Sunset Doom of Dhylka-Ryn" by series creators David Michelinie and Ernie Chan (then using his "Chua" nom de plume) is very, very much like an issue of Marvel's Conan the Barbarian--until you get to pages 14 and 15. It's then you'll see that Michelinie and Chan were definitely getting into their own groove on Claw...

Decent Comics: "The Coming of N'HGLTHSS" by Michelinie, Chan, and Boyette
Dig it, Groove-ophiles! With "The Coming of N'HGLTHSS" by David Michelinie, Ernie Chan (then "Chua"), and Pat Boyette, Claw the Unconquered gets a little bit more cosmic with the introduction of a new supporting character from another dimensional plane, Prince Ghilkyn (Gil Kane?). Let's truck on back to August 1974 and peel back the cover of Claw the Unconquered #4...
