Fear #23 was my first introduction to Morbius. After that, I went back to find his appearances in Amazing Spider-Man. Loved this tortured soul in Vampire Tales...the cover to the Super Annual is priceless!
ReplyDeleteWas it just me, or did Michael Jackson resemble Morbius towards the end of his life...pale skin, the hair & up-turned nose !?
Totally Awesome! Vampires Tales #3's cover was my favorite. Beside's Amazing Spider-Man #101 of course! The annual freaked me out as a teen. Too real looking especially those blood red reflecting eyes! It still creeps me out!
ReplyDeleteGil Kane's beautiful Adventure into Fear covers & Paul Gulacy's Jim Steranko like PPSS#8 cover are just gems! Happy Halloween!! Morbius Rules!
