Black and White Wednesday: "Sleep" by Pagan and Ploog

What it is, Groove-ophiles! Here's a cool creepy comicbook mini-epic from the team of writer Kevin Pagan and artist Mike Ploog (yep, Marvel's early 70s Master of Horror did some Warren work!). "Sleep" was originally published in Creepy #44 (December 1971). Check it out!

  1. This entry is a surprise. I have one other Creepy where Ploog did work but didn't know about this one. You might want to run other Creepy stories that featured work by Staton, Weiss and Cockrum before they hit it big with other companies.

As for the rest of ya, the purpose of this blog is to (re)introduce you to the great comics of the 1970s. If you like what you see, do what I do--go to a comics shop, bookstore, e-Bay or whatever and BUY YOUR OWN!
