Random Reads: "Idol of Fear" by ? and Sgroi

Ya know, Groove-ophiles, thinking about the old Aquaman cartoon (remember Tuesday's post?) got Ol' Groove reminiscing about his other childhood favorite cartoons. When I think of those, of course I'm talking about Space Ghost, Birdman, Young Samson, and the rest. My favorite back then, dunno why, but it was, was Mighty Mightor. Here's a fun one featuring our stone-age superhero from Hanna-Barbera Super TV Heroes #6 (April 1969) with art by Tony Sgroi...

    1. I updated the post with a link to Lambiek's post on Sgroi, keythd23. I'd meant to do that before I originally posted. Thanks for the reminder!

As for the rest of ya, the purpose of this blog is to (re)introduce you to the great comics of the 1970s. If you like what you see, do what I do--go to a comics shop, bookstore, e-Bay or whatever and BUY YOUR OWN!
