Black and White Wednesday: "Plague of the Wolf" by Moench and Bolle

HooOOOW's it shakin', Groove-ophiles! Today's fear-fest comes from Warren's Vampirella #7 (June 1970) and features the second pro script from one of Ol' Groove's all time favorite comicbook writers, Doug Moench. With stunning art by Frank Bolle, here's "Plague of the Wolf!"

  1. Stunning is right. Probably the best I've ever seen from Frank Bolle. Each page is full of so much detail. I believe he is still doing strip work.

As for the rest of ya, the purpose of this blog is to (re)introduce you to the great comics of the 1970s. If you like what you see, do what I do--go to a comics shop, bookstore, e-Bay or whatever and BUY YOUR OWN!
