Although this DC classic was released in November, 1970, Hot Wheels #6's "The Humbug Run" is definitely a cool-car-Christmas-themed comic. Buckle up and get ready for a far-out ride courtesy Len Wein, Neal Adams, and Dick Giordano, Groove-ophiles!

As for the rest of ya, the purpose of this blog is to (re)introduce you to the great comics of the 1970s. If you like what you see, do what I do--go to a comics shop, bookstore, e-Bay or whatever and BUY YOUR OWN!

MY all time favorite Adams story (and there were so may) were the three issues he did of the Avengers with Tom Palmer on inks. I think they were issues 96 to 98 and they were followed by a couple issues drawn by Barry Smith! Damn, those were the days. If you ever get those scanned I would love it. I can see images of Antman shrinking down and going inside the Vision and doing a sort of Fantastic Voyage job on him. As always great stuff and Merry Christmas man. I was thinking of printing out that red Nails stuff you sent me and making it into a little book.

Glad you enjoyed the post, Bill! The Antman-exploring-the Vision ish was Avengers #93, and t'was indeed a milestone. I think that segment is in most fans' all-time top 10 cool moments. Adams rules!
