Grooviest Covers of All Time: Neal Adams--6 from '69

Greetings, Groove-ophiles! Just for fun, here are six Neal Adams DC masterpieces from 1969. What more could any comics fiend want for the occupation of their ocular organs?

  1. Just beautiful & stunning covers! Adams in his hey day rocked! I especially loved his Superman, Action, Superboy, Batman, Detective, X-Men & Avengers covers! WOW! One of the true greatest comic book artists ever!

Love to see some of the greatest Avengers covers ever also. Like from Adams, BWS & Kirby of course!

  2. Neil Adams is great, but I'd love to see more Jim Aparo covers. In my mind, the best Batman artist of all time. Of course, he was the main artist when I began reading Batman...

  3. Wonderful stuff for me Neal Adams is just the best comic book artist ever

  4. Glad you dug the Adams covers, Groove-ophiles!

Aparo gets his turn in a couple'a short weeks. Stay tuned!

As for the rest of ya, the purpose of this blog is to (re)introduce you to the great comics of the 1970s. If you like what you see, do what I do--go to a comics shop, bookstore, e-Bay or whatever and BUY YOUR OWN!
