Black and White Wednesday: "...Peter Piper Picked a Peck of Pickled Corpses..." by Hewetson and Cintron

Greetings, Groove-ophiles! Today we're gonna shiver and quiver to the spooky stylings of Archaic Al Hewetson and Maelo Cintron (pioneering the "wide-screen" layout style several decades before other artists "pioneered" it)! "...Peter Piper Picked a Peck of Pickled Corpses..." first crawled out of its tomb way back in Psycho #10 (cover-dated January 1973). Dig it!

  1. Great stuff. Are any of the Skywald stories anthologized? Thanks for posting.

As for the rest of ya, the purpose of this blog is to (re)introduce you to the great comics of the 1970s. If you like what you see, do what I do--go to a comics shop, bookstore, e-Bay or whatever and BUY YOUR OWN!
