Random Reads: "Death Race to Cholera End!" by Fleisher and Cruz

Time t'saddle up an' hit the trail, Groove-ophiles! Did'ja know that talented hombre name'a E.R. Cruz, best known for his eerie work on The Shadow and hundreds of terror tales for DC's mystery mags, drew a few issues of Jonah Hex? Well, he did! Today we're gonna look at the first of 'em, "Death Race to Cholera End!" from Jonah Hex #26 (April 1979). Of course, it's classic Hex, story-wise, as it's written by long-time Hex scribe Michael Fleisher! Let's ride!

As for the rest of ya, the purpose of this blog is to (re)introduce you to the great comics of the 1970s. If you like what you see, do what I do--go to a comics shop, bookstore, e-Bay or whatever and BUY YOUR OWN!
