Making a Splash: Jack Kirby's Forever People

Ol' Groove just can't get enough Kirby, Groove-ophiles! His birthday was yesterday, but I'm still in a King Kirby mood--so how 'bout we plant our peepers on a pile of Forever People splashes? Ol' Groove's been diggin' DC's new Infinity Man and the Forever People so far, but nothing, I mean nothing can come close to this--the real thing. Dig the hippie-fied majesty of Mark Moonrider, Big Bear, Vykin, Serifan, and Beautiful Dreamer!

  1. Ah, those were the days. I went and got these through back issue lots in the 80's, and now my brother, I think, has a couple of these sitting at home.

You might not be too thrilled about the current FP series DC just launched, though. Serafin has been changed to a woman (Serafina) by Keith Giffen. Don't know why.

  2. Makes about as much sense, Hobbyfan, as when they turned the Question into a woman.

  3. crazy styles. makes me want to go back and re-read the whole thing. Jack certainly was a prophet, what with his Happyland hellish amusement park and the Anti-Life Equation. It is Darkseid's world and we're all living in it…
