Random Reads: "Quest for Blood!" by Albano, Broderick, and McLaughlin

Hey, hey, hey, Groove-ophiles! It just occurred to Ol' Groove that we haven't revisited Planet of Vampires since we rapped about ish one way back in October, 2008! What's up with that? Well, we're gonna fix that sitch right now, 'cause here comes PoV #2 (January 1975) and "Quest for Blood!" by John Albano, Pat Broderick, and Frank McLaughlin!
Cover art by Neal Adams and Dick Giordano

Ka-razee stuff, innit? More to come! Hang in there, heroes!

  1. The art here is really impressive. As far as I know, this is some of Broderick's earliest professional work, and it's amazing how solid he was right from the start.

As for the rest of ya, the purpose of this blog is to (re)introduce you to the great comics of the 1970s. If you like what you see, do what I do--go to a comics shop, bookstore, e-Bay or whatever and BUY YOUR OWN!
