Special thanks to Mike's Amazing World of Comics and Grand Comics Database for being such fantastic resources for covers, dates, creator info, etc. Thou art treasures true!

As for the rest of ya, the purpose of this blog is to (re)introduce you to the great comics of the 1970s. If you like what you see, do what I do--go to a comics shop, bookstore, e-Bay or whatever and BUY YOUR OWN!

Ditko rules!
ReplyDeleteGroove:
ReplyDeleteSurprised you didn't tuck this one away for your annual Halloween fright fest. Perhaps you've got scarier stuff set aside? (Coming to think of it, Ditko's Frogman is actually kinda huggable, no?)
Cheers,
Andrew

'Tis but a mild taste of what is to come--starting TOMORROW, Andrew! As always, you've got it on the ball, my friend.
ReplyDeleteWow! Fantastic work by the great Steve Ditko! Nick Cuti does a bang-up job, as usual.
ReplyDeleteAs much as I like Ditko's superhero work, I think I like his work on these Charlton horror anthologies even better.
