Grooviest Covers of All Time: (Frank) Miller Time!

Greetings, Groove-ophiles! How 'bout we kick back and "Marvel" at a flock of fab-a-mundo Frank Miller covers! And not the covers you'd expect, baby! Ol' Groove never takes the easy way out. Didja know Miller drew these non-Daredevil masterpieces...?

  1. Hey Groovster!
I used to Love Frank Miller back then! Especially when he had klaus Janson inking him. After his Batman: Return of the Darknight he lost me as a fan.

  2. That "Caleb Hammer"/Marvel Premiere cover is by Cockrum and DeZuniga.

  3. Hey, Groove:

Nice mix of Miller covers. I seem to recall your last post on Blinded Me With Science was a collection of Miller covers. Any plans to return to that blog, or are you planning to stay exclusive to the Groovy Decade?

  4. Man, was his early stuff influenced by Gil Kane.

As for the rest of ya, the purpose of this blog is to (re)introduce you to the great comics of the 1970s. If you like what you see, do what I do--go to a comics shop, bookstore, e-Bay or whatever and BUY YOUR OWN!
