Amazed by Aparo: "The Imitation People" by Gentile and Aparo

What it is, Groove-ophiles! Here's an early Groovy Age sci-fi classic by Joe Gill and Jim Aparo. It's from Charlton's Space Adventures #4 (August 1968), and Ol' Groove really dug it when I was a kid. Ya wanna know something? I still think it's pretty far-out! Bet you'll agree...

  1. Lovely: obscure, early Aparo artwork. Man, I'd love a collected edition of all of Aparo's early work for Charlton...

As for the rest of ya, the purpose of this blog is to (re)introduce you to the great comics of the 1970s. If you like what you see, do what I do--go to a comics shop, bookstore, e-Bay or whatever and BUY YOUR OWN!
